If you have hypertension. Seems like a good idea to be able to monitor your condition wherever you choose or need to. The physical design is visually appealing, the on-screen info is easy to read, and is logically displayed after reading. You can get a single measurement, or a 3-reading average. What sold me most was the "Irregular Heartbeat" display, which does just what it sounds like: shows a visible display when it detects an irregular heartbeat. It takes your pulse, too. Plus, the memory function keeps track of 100 readings (for one or two people)in case you - or your doctor - want to refer back. The cuff is very easy to apply one-handed, as well. It comes with a carrying case to keep your machine in, which could be better constructed, but I guess it's better than nothing.
All in all, an excellent medical purchase, well worth the price. And cheaper on Amazon than in store.
